A New Benchmark in the Truck-Mounted Aerial Work Platform Sector: Introducing the V-Range

With the new V-Range, France Élévateur, Ruthmann and Movex are introducing a new generation of truck-mounted aerial work platforms, built around a simple principle: standardise to simplify.

To achieve this, the seven models in the range cover 17 to 27 metres of working height and are built on a common technical foundation. In addition, they share the same core features, including the XPC control system, hydraulic and electrical architectures, RTC connectivity, and operating philosophy.

As a result, this common architecture provides operators with a consistent experience from one model to another. At the same time, standardisation helps facilitate maintenance operations and simplifies day-to-day fleet management.

Furthermore, the V-Range is designed in particular for rental companies, municipalities, utility operators, telecommunications companies and infrastructure specialists. By combining a common technical foundation with different working configurations, the range therefore establishes a new benchmark in the 3.5-tonne truck-mounted aerial work platform category.

As a result, the V-Range forms a family of truck-mounted aerial work platforms developed around a common technical foundation for the European 3.5-tonne vehicle market.

To begin with, the V-170 is designed for urban environments and areas with restricted access. Its design prioritises manoeuvrability and day-to-day efficiency, particularly where access and space constraints are significant.

The V-200 combines significant outreach, generous payload capacity and optimised road handling. It therefore provides a versatile solution, suited to a wide range of applications and to the needs of fleets looking for efficiency.

The VA-200-F combines a compact design with an articulated boom equipped with a flyboom. This configuration therefore provides a high degree of precision for operations requiring access above and around obstacles.

Thanks to its telescopic boom combined with a flyboom, the V-250-F offers both direct outreach and greater access flexibility. It can therefore adapt more easily to operations carried out on sites with specific access constraints.

Finally, at the top of the range, the V-270 is designed to meet the most demanding applications, requiring both maximum working height and a high level of stability.

With the V-Range, the companies within the Time Group are thus evolving the traditional approach to truck-mounted aerial work platform fleets by focusing on a more homogeneous, standardised range designed to simplify day-to-day operation.

The aim is to provide greater consistency between machines, while retaining configurations suited to different operational requirements.

Series production and first deliveries are scheduled to take place progressively throughout 2026, depending on the model. Prototypes will also be presented at several major industry events across Europe.
