Alain Casel, manager of the CITEOS subsidiary in Longwy, agreed to answer our questions. At France El\u00e9vateur, feedback from our customers is paramount. It allows us to improve and to seek to respond ever more accurately to the needs of users. Citeos is a specialist in city infrastructure: illumination, fiber, internet distribution service, TV subscribers, camera, low voltage network intervention. What does Alain Casel appreciate in the France \u00c9l\u00e9vateur machines, especially the 162 TLE Eco Pack ? <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

\"CITEOS,<\/p>\n

Professional constraints? FE has the solution<\/b><\/h2>\n

As a company with a national scope, specializing in the field of electrical installation work on public roads<\/strong>, the constraints are multiple. Alain Casel<\/strong> explains that one of the main needs of technicians is versatility.<\/strong> For example, employees perform different tasks in the same day. It is also necessary to be able to carry out work at night. <\/span><\/p>\n

The minimum requirement? 16 meters high.<\/strong> For other uses, new requests are emerging from CITEOS<\/a> members. For example, minimal noise<\/strong> for interventions on the public domain in the city center. <\/span><\/p>\n

CITEOS has a strong need for aerial work platforms, since work at height is at the heart of their business<\/strong>. There are nine machines in the CITEOS fleet in Longwy<\/a>. You will find for example several light vehicles on <\/span>162 TLE on Iveco<\/span><\/a> and Mercedes, for compactness and use on slopes; a truck which acts as a mobile workshop; a 162 TLE Pack Eco for a reduced carbon footprint; a TOPY, the must-have; a CTE Revolution; an ATL; a 142 TPFC cutaway van.<\/span> <\/p>\n

\"CITEOS,<\/p>\n

The 162 TLE, the Eco pack of reference for interventions in urban areas<\/b><\/h2>\n

The 162 TLE, for the Eco pack, is perfect for saving money and reducing the company’s carbon footprint.<\/strong> For CITEOS customers who are environmentally conscious, the 162 TLE is an excellent argument. Of course, as an electric vehicle, it allows you to navigate urban streets without noise. No noise or odor nuisance for the technicians and onlookers. <\/span><\/p>\n

The manager is delighted to have been able to reduce the carbon footprint of the sites. In an environment that requires the use of vehicles on a daily basis and many kilometres travelled (7,800 for CITEOS with this vehicle!), moving away from combustion engines in order to be more environmentally friendly is a fine and honourable goal to pursue. <\/span><\/p>\n

Previously, explains Mr Casel, “we used to get remarks from people in the city centre (too noisy, too much smoke) because we used to have to intervene for sometimes 30 minutes with the engine running.” The feedback is now much more positive, with talk of “pleasant and comfortable” use.<\/strong> Between users and citizens, the 162 TLE allows a harmony, a “shared comfort”<\/strong> says Alain Casel. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u25ba Video: using the 162 TLE with CITEOS<\/a>\u25c4<\/p>\n

New users of electric vehicles often have the same fear before taking the plunge: the autonomy<\/strong>. However, believe Alain Casel, there is no problem with that! Given the use made of these machines, the autonomy is quite adequate.<\/strong> In addition, the 162 TLE simply spends an evening plugged into its 16-amp socket in the park’s “green” slot and the battery is recharged. And this recharge does not take place every night, not at all. One refill per working week is sufficient to cover the handling.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

The figures also speak for themselves. During one week of work, 220 kg\/CO2 were not released. And 144 litres of diesel were saved. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
